Danny Bernstein

Danny started his BLC journey as a camper (and won the Camper of the Year award his Senior C summer). After a few summers as a counselor in his early 20s, Danny took a long gap before returning to BLC in the early 2000s when his son Max became a camper. In his younger days, Danny played goalie on the varsity soccer team at Amherst College. Danny later received a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Manhattanville College and went on to launch Backyard Sports & Backyard Sports Cares, a youth sports program in Westchester, where he is the Executive Director. Danny and his wife, Dr. Beth Bernstein (BLC’s Medical Director), split their time between Scarsdale and Brant Lake year round.
